CLASSES II TO IV:
Promotion for these classes shall be granted on the basis of four Assessments. These tests would be conducted in the months of July, September, December and March every year. The syllabus covered in each test would be independent of the other tests.
CLASSES V TO VIII:
Unit tests and examinations would be held alternatively in the months of July, September, December and March.
CLASSES IX AND XI:
unit tests and examinations would be alternatively in the months of July, September, December and February to facilitate extra teaching time in the month of march for classes X and XII.
CLASSES X AND XII:
Besides the above mentioned tests and examinations, constant revision tests and preparatory examinations are also held to make the children fully confident to face the board exams.
EXAMINATIONS AND PROMOTIONS
Promotion to the next academic year is granted on the basis of the student’s performance in the tests and examinations held spanning the year.
The examination pattern for each class is as follows: -
CLASSES LKG - V:
Four Assessment Tests are held in the month of July, September, December and March.
CLASSES VI to X:
Four Formative and two Summative Assessments based on CCE(Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation) shall be held over two terms: April - September & October - March.
Continuous Tests and Examinations, constant Revision Tests and Preparatory Examinations are held to make students fully confident to face the Board Exams.
Declaration of Results:
Results are declared twice in an academic year in the months of October and March. The same is intimated to the parents through Report Card which is required to be duly signed by the parents and sent back to the school within 3 days.
No student is granted exemption from any of the tests or Examinations.
Internal Assessment is marked keeping in view the following aspects:
a) Regularity and neatness in Class Work and Home Work.
b)Performance in Class Tests.
c) Interaction in Class.
